As a member of the investment team, Matthew is responsible for researching companies and providing support for investment analysts and portfolio managers. He also regularly undertakes a variety of initiatives for the business development team.

Prior to joining Cardinal full-time in 2022, Matthew spent two summers here as a research associate as well as one term as an advisor associate at Investors Group and another as a special projects coordinator with the United Way. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree, majoring in finance and international business, from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba and is currently a Level 2 candidate of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) program.
